Our Mission
A +1 C degree increase in our average global temperature is already creating substantial environmental disaster risk. We need to limit the global temperature increase to well below 2 degrees celsius to avoid catastrophic climate impacts and degradation of human quality of life. We do this by cutting overall carbon emissions in half by 2030, and net zero emissions by mid-century.
What we believe
We believe investing holistically with our time and capital in the climate change ecosystem is of paramount importance
We are aligned in wanting to invest philanthropically together (as opposed to individually) to maximize our impact in the climate change ecosystem
While our philosophy of impact continues to evolve, in broad strokes we believe that any strategy must contemplate philanthropic, political, and investment approaches to enable our maximal impact
We believe in acting today, and specifically putting our resources to work within a 10-year time horizon to achieve net zero emissions by mid-century
